About Us

After several years as consultants at various shipyards around the country, it became clear that the quality offered back then could be improved. The result was Tomra Engineering, established in 1997. We are a company that highly values safety, quality, and honesty. The people working here have extensive experience in the industry and have designed boats for both large and small clients for many years. Today, we are five engineers who both design existing vessels and act as third-party consultants for larger vessels at shipyards. Through good customer communication, state-of-the-art equipment, and efficient processes, our goal is to continue the excellent work we do today and further establish our position as one of the leading providers in the industry. We are located in Tomrefjord and are available to assist anyone needing help with the design and third-party inspection of commercial vessels.
