About Us

Salthammer Sjøtransport was founded in 2004 to meet the need for easier transportation of sections to workshops and construction sites. For this reason, we invested in a good barge, which is still with us today. Over the years, we added another barge and a tugboat to our fleet. Today, we transport sections to sites and workshops across the country and offer both short-term and long-term rental of our barges. At Salthammer Sjøtransport, we respond quickly and can be on-site where you need us in no time!

Services

At Salthammer Sjøtransport, we have two barges and a tugboat available for short-term and long-term rental.

• Barge 1 has a deck size of 42x13 meters and a load capacity of 800 tons. Classification: DNV GL, small coastal trade.
• Barge 2 has a deck size of 24x12 meters and a load capacity of 200 tons. Classification: DNV GL, small coastal trade.

Our location makes it easy for us to undertake assignments on short notice! With excellent availability, we can be a valuable resource for all shipyards and workshops in Møre og Romsdal. Do you need additional assistance to meet the depth requirements for mooring at the quay? If needed, we can also provide barges as extra quay space.
